Q: Can I upgrade/downgrade my account as my needs change? Are there any charges?
A: Of course. You can switch your hosting plan at any time with no additional charges. Even more, you will receive a credit for the unused amount of services from your old hosting plan.

Q: What happens if I use all of my monthly bandwidth?
A: As your bandwidth usage approaches 100% you will be notified several times by e-mail. Then you can log into the control panel to purchase additional traffic for your account. Hosting accounts that reach 100% of monthly bandwidth limitation are automatically suspended unless you have enabled the "Traffic AutoBuy" option, which will automatically purchase more traffic for you if your account balance has enough funds.

Q: Do you attach any automated charges to my credit card?
A: No. We do not store any credit card details on our servers. Each payment has to be done personally by you. We do this to assure our customers that there are absolutely no hidden charges.

Q: Do you backup data? How often?
A: Besides RAID1 protection, we also back up all customer files to a remote backup server every 24 hours.

Q: What is your connectivity?

Q: I have my own domain name. Can I use it with Extreme Hosting?
A: Of course. When signing up please check the "existing domain" box and then use the DNSes servers provided in your registration e-mail to point your domain name to our servers.

Q: Do you offer domain name registrations?
A: Yes, you can register a new domain name with us.

Q: If I register a domain name with Extreme Hosting, who is the actual owner of the domain name?
A: You. We register all domain names in the client's name.

Q: I have a domain name with a specific TLD, can I host it?
A: Yes, we support any type of TLDs.

Q: Can I retrieve my e-mails using Outlook?
A: Yes, we offer POP3, SMTP and IMAP server for your e-mail needs. You can read and write messages using any standard mail reader software, such as Outlook.

Q: Do you offer a webmail client?
A: Yes, we offer a webmail interface so you can check your messages wherever you are.
